JEFE clothing has arrived to fill the void in the urban market, by offering a Latin, cross cultural, street savvy style, bringing a new identity and representation. Inspiration is derived from everything from urban street culture, to nostalgic gangster films and religious icons. JEFE clothing crosses all ethnic boundaries by giving respect to legends of today's and yesterday's culture.
Remember the 2006 San Diego lowrider carshow? Yeah, that was a while back I know. I had been talking to Ruben from Jefe sometime before the show. He said to come through and check out his operation in Diego. So we said hell yeah, we'll roll through and do an interview while we're down there. So we packed the truck and took off to South Cali.
We got to SD the day before the show so we have enough time to cover the interview and the event. As with all interviews we always seem to forget something. That something was a tripod. Good thing Ruben had a photo shoot going with boxer Edgar Santana who we will be interviewing later. They had lights and more than enough stuff we needed to shoot the interview. Especially the tripod.
All in all I think the interview came out pretty good. It was real hard for me to cut the video because I ended up finding out a lot about Ruben and his crew. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see the clip. Check it out below! Shouts out to the Jefe Clothing fam and of course Anna, Angel, and Roxy for the help.
